Zondo Commission – Eskom’s disregard of procurement processes in the spotlight

Former minister of mineral resources Mosebenzi Zwane might be headed for the hot seat of the commission of inquiry into state capture, if the wishes of evidence leader Vincent Maleka SC are realised. Maleka called on the commission’s chairperson, Deputy Chief Justice Raymond Zondo, to consider that the time may have come for him to institute his summonsing powers to individuals who would not ordinarily volunteer their testimonies.
