RYWC in King Williams Town
The New Beginnings Young Women’s Club held an event regarding Rape and Sexual Assault on the 26 February 2016. The event was held at Charles Morgan Primary School.
The club invited guest speakers were from former RYWC leader members and also stakeholders from King Williams Town Youth Centre, Social workers and members of the community. People were informed about rape and sexual assault and to know how to approach rape victims and support survivors. Most of the guest speakers encouraged community members to see a doctor and receive a proper attention after sexual assault.
