The participants received information regarding:
- The different forms of abuse
- The cycle of abuse
- Where to seek help and the importance of counselling
- How to apply for a protection order
- For community members to stop abusing their gay and lesbian children and rather accept and love them.
- The community was encouraged to support Victims of abuse and violence where ever they can – not to continue having a blind eye – To start saying Its #Not Okay if you see something that’s Not Okay.
