Research
As with all material developed by the Soul City Institute for Health and Development Communication, the Soul Buddyz project is carefully researched and evaluated.
TV Story
Soul Buddyz television is a co-production between Soul City Institute for Health and Development Communication and SABC Education.
Radio Story
Soul Buddyz 1 Radio was a pilot project as there was very little if any radio in South Africa for children of this age ( 8-12 years) at the time of the project's inception.
Campaigns
In dealing with trauma, Soul City is aware that the greatest cause of death and injury for children between 8 and 12 years old is road-related trauma. Two road safety advocacy campaigns were conducted together with Drive Alive.
